Facebook 360-Degree Livestreaming Is Now Open to Everyone

Facebook is taking the art of live video to a whole new level. Now, besides just regular uploaded clips or basic streams, you can now actually lives broadcast any event or occasion in 360-degrees. An important thing to mention, however, is that you’ll need the proper camera hardware and bandwidth to execute the vids as best as possible.

Initially, 360-degree livestreaming was only available to specific publishers like National Geographic, but now FB is rolling out a global release of the tool for all to experience. To properly use the feature, you’ll need a compatible 360 camera such as the Samsung Gear 360, Giroptic IO, Insta360, and ALLie Camera. Z CAM S1 and Nokia Ozo are more on the high-end professional level. With the recent announcement, how will you use Facebook’s 360-degree livestreaming feature?
